It’s Been a Minute… and I've missed you!!! Hello, my friend! Well. It’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it? Time has this sneaky way of flying when life is life-ing. Seasons change. Priorities shift. Growth happens quietly and sometimes quickly. And then, two years later, here we are. But now.... I’m back. And I don’t want to just “restart a newsletter.” I want to reopen a conversation. Going forward, these emails are going to feel different. They’re going to make you think. They’re going to make you feel things. They might even piss you off and make you want to throw something at me. Good! Because I’m not here to send fluff. I’m here to ask better questions. To explore behaviour in a way that connects dogs and humans more deeply. To shift perspective. To get curious. To challenge gently. To invite reflection. To continue learning together. You know me. I use (a lot of) words. There will be scrolling. So grab a coffee. Or a glass of wine. Or a tea. Settle in. Let this be five or ten minutes where we actually connect instead of skim. Each week, you can expect: · A real story or moment · A reframe that might stretch you · A teaching lens grounded in behaviour science · One practical tool you can actually use · A small “This Week with MJ” section where I share something current, relevant, or quietly powerful. This space is going to be thoughtful. Sometimes bold. Sometimes tender. Always honest. If that excites you, I’m so glad you’re here. If your inbox already feels full and this isn’t what you’re looking for right now, that’s okay too. No hard feelings. If thoughtful conversations about dogs, behaviour, and real connection light you up, please stay. We’re just getting started. So welcome back! Buckle up! Let’s talk! MJ 🐾 PS. When Happy was a puppy, life felt easy. He learned his name on day one. He slept well. He ate well. He never made a mess in the house. Although his little puppy teeth were like razor blades for a few months, none of it was a big deal. He was an old soul in a young puppy’s body from the get-go. He was such a little charmer. He even had girlfriends. Yes, plural. Playdates with tiny fluffy ladies who would come over, wrestle around the living room, drink water from the same bowl, and then go...
